Should i buy an electric bike?

If you're considering whether to buy an electric bike, think about the freedom it offers. No more traffic jams or waiting in long lines at the gas station. With an electric bike, you can commute faster, save money on transportation, and reduce your carbon footprint. Whether you’re navigating city streets or enjoying a weekend ride, it’s a convenient, eco-friendly, and cost-effective way to get around.

How do e-bikes work?

E-bikes combine a traditional bike with an electric motor and battery. The motor assists your pedaling—usually via the wheel hub or drive—making rides easier, especially on hills or long distances. Powered by a rechargeable battery, assistance is controlled by pedal assist or throttle, helping you go farther and faster with less effort.

Electric bike vs Regular bike

E-bikes use motors and batteries to assist pedaling, especially on hills or long rides, and can be powered by a throttle without pedaling. Regular bikes rely solely on pedal power, are lighter and simpler, but require more effort on inclines and long distances.

What's the lifespan of an e-bike?

An e-bike typically lasts 5–10 years. The battery lasts 3–5 years (500–1,000 charges), and the motor 5–10 years with care. Frames and parts may need replacement every few years. Regular maintenance extends lifespan.

Are electric bike street legal

Electric bikes are generally street legal, but regulations vary by region. Rules may include helmet use or bike lane restrictions. Check local laws for details.

How level of pedal assist affects range

Pedal assist levels affect e-bike range: higher assist uses more power and reduces range, while lower assist conserves battery and extends it. No or low assist means longer range but more effort; higher assist eases riding but drains battery faster.

Can ebikes work in the rain / get wet?

Our design is waterproof, but riding in rain isn’t recommended due to slippery roads. Avoid immersing the motor, battery, or electrical parts in water and keep them as dry as possible, especially the battery. Dry your bike after wet rides to prevent corrosion.

What optional accessories are available for my product?

Some models have built-in rear racks; EB40 and EB50 also offer custom front baskets and rear racks. See the accessories page or choose market options that fit your frame.

What precautions should I take when traveling with my ebike on a car rack? (battery terminal plugs, dummy batteries, saran wrap, temperature, etc)

Transport tips:
Remove the battery to avoid vibration or temperature damage.
Cover battery terminals with plugs or tape to prevent shorts.
Wrap sensitive parts (display, motor) in protective material.
Avoid extreme heat or cold to protect battery performance.
Secure the bike firmly to prevent shifting or falling.

Tips for safer e-bike riding

Safety tips:
Always wear a properly fitting helmet.
Regularly check brakes, tires, and lights.
Use front/rear lights and reflectors, especially at night.
Ride defensively—stay alert, follow rules, avoid distractions.
Start slowly to get used to your e-bike’s speed and power.
Wear snug clothing; avoid loose items.
Maintain control, especially at high speeds or on rough terrain.

How do you maintain an ebike battery?

Charge regularly after rides, keeping battery between 20%-80%. Store unused batteries at 50% charge in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures. Clean with a dry cloth, especially connectors. Inspect for wear or damage and replace if needed.

How can I order replacement parts?

Perishable accessories are available on the homepage accessories section.
