Lithium-Ion Spare Battery Returns
Lithium-ion batteries are subject to strict safety and transportation regulations and are handled under limited return conditions. All battery return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery and require prior authorization (RMA). Batteries must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in their original, unopened packaging with all components and labels intact. Batteries that have been installed, charged, used, modified, damaged, or removed from their original packaging are not eligible for return and will be handled under warranty only, subject to inspection and approval. Returns not related to a verified defect or shipping error may be subject to a restocking fee of up to twenty percent (25%). Shipping charges are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise approved. OKAI reserves the right to inspect returned batteries and to refuse any return that does not meet these requirements or applicable safety and transportation standards.
Parts and Accessories Limited Warranty and Return Policy
All parts and accessories sold by OKAI are subject to a separate limited warranty period of fourteen (14) days from the date of delivery. During this period, coverage is strictly limited to manufacturing defects or cases in which the incorrect item was shipped.
Returns, refunds, or replacements will only be considered if the claim is submitted within the applicable fourteen-day period and is supported by sufficient documentation.
Returns that are not the result of a confirmed defect or shipping error may be subject to a restocking fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the original purchase price, at OKAI’s sole discretion. In all cases, shipping charges, handling fees, and related costs are non-refundable.
Returned parts and accessories must be unused, in their original condition, and returned with all original packaging and components intact. Items that fail to meet these requirements may be rejected or subject to additional charges.
Customer Responsibilities
Packaging & Shipping Damage Disclaimer:
OKAI strongly recommends that the Customer retain all original packaging and purchase documentation for the entire duration of the Warranty period. Should original packaging be unavailable, it is the Customer’s sole responsibility to obtain and utilize suitable alternative packing materials to ensure the safe transit of products to OKAI or its agents. OKAI expressly disclaims all liability for any damage sustained in transit due to inadequate or non-original packaging. The User/Owner assumes all risk for such damage in every instance.
Shipping Obligations:
The Customer is fully and exclusively responsible for all inbound shipping costs, including packaging, packing materials, insurance, and any incidental charges associated with the transport of products to OKAI for warranty-related inspection or service. OKAI neither arranges nor bears responsibility for inbound shipments or transportation-related damage.
Proof of Purchase:
Valid, legible, and dated proof of purchase, issued by OKAI, an authorized OKAI dealer, or distributor, is an absolute requirement for all warranty claims. Warranty coverage does not extend to products sold through private party resales, second-hand sources, outlet channels, liquidation sales, or any non-authorized third-parties, including unverified online marketplaces. Any claim based on a non-qualified transaction will be denied, regardless of product condition or service history. Failure to provide valid proof of purchase as described above waives all warranty rights.
Age Restriction and Use Compliance
OKAI Products are intended only for users who meet the minimum age requirements specified in the applicable product documentation. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that all users of the product comply with such requirements.
Use of the product by any individual below the recommended minimum age (“Underaged Rider”) is strictly prohibited. Any warranty claim, service request, or liability arising from or related to such unauthorized use shall be automatically void and denied in its entirety.
Documentation:
The Customer must complete and submit the official OKAI After-Sales Form, provide a detailed description of the alleged defect, and include all relevant photographic or video evidence as well as the product’s unique serial number, as a precondition of claim consideration.
Return Authorization Required:
No product shall be shipped to OKAI for warranty consideration without prior written Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) and specific instructions from OKAI. Products received without RMA or without adequate packaging may be rejected and returned at the Customer’s sole cost and risk, with no warranty obligations attaching.
Warranty Claim Procedure
1. Initiation: The Customer must submit a completed After-Sales Form, proof of purchase, , Model, serial number, defect description, and visual evidence for preliminary assessment to OKAI at support@okai.co or through online Support ticketing system at www.okai.co under “Need Help” section.
2. Review: OKAI will conduct a remote technical review of all submitted materials and may request supplementary documentation or clarification to determine preliminary eligibility.
3. Authorization: If the claim is deemed potentially valid, OKAI will issue an RMA and specific shipping instructions. No warranty consideration is provided absent such formal authorization.
4. Shipping: The Customer shall employ all reasonable and necessary means to ensure the product’s safe shipment to OKAI per the instructions provided, with all related risks and costs borne exclusively by the Customer.
Warranty Assessment, Repairs, and Returns
Upon receipt, OKAI will inspect, test, and evaluate the product to determine warranty eligibility under these terms and applicable law. Where a valid warrantable defect is confirmed, OKAI will, at its exclusive discretion, repair or replace the defective component or product using new or functionally equivalent parts or products. OKAI shall bear the cost of outbound shipping to return repaired or replacement items resulting from an approved warranty claim.
If the product is found not to qualify for warranty coverage, the Customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs and a $75.00 diagnostic fee. Notification of the potential for such charges is provided herein and during any related customer service communications. The assessment and application of this fee are within the sole discretion of OKAI.
Any original product or component replaced under the terms of this Warranty shall become the property of OKAI, unless local law stipulates otherwise.
Under this policy, OKAI will provide outbound shipment of replacement components at no cost to customers located within the contiguous 48 United States. For customers located in Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States, all shipping, materials, and any applicable customs or brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customers in these regions must arrange for and cover all such costs.
Exclusions and Limitations
This Warranty is null and void and provides no coverage for any product that, in OKAI’s assessment, evidences any of the following:

· Damage, malfunction, or loss resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, theft, water ingress, or improper storage, assembly, maintenance, or repair.

Diagnostic and Inspection Fees
If, upon inspection, OKAI determines that the product does not meet the criteria for warranty coverage, the Customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs and a $75.00 diagnostic fee. Customers are hereby informed of the possibility of these charges prior to, and during, the claims process. OKAI may exercise its sole discretion as to the assessment and collection of such fee.
Limitation of Liability
Except as expressly set forth herein and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OKAI’s aggregate liability under any Warranty or for any product, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
In no event shall OKAI be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss or damages, including but not limited to loss of use, business, revenue, goodwill, or profit.
To the extent permitted, all implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby expressly disclaimed. If OKAI cannot disclaim or exclude certain warranties under applicable law, such implied warranties are limited in duration to the applicable express warranty periods set forth above.
OKAI does not provide refunds for products purchased through authorized retailers; all refund requests must be directed to the original seller and will be subject to their return and refund policies.
General Terms
Warranty coverage is extended solely to the original retail purchaser in the United States, and is not transferable. This written Warranty sets forth the entire agreement and supersedes all previous warranty statements, communications, or representations.
Should any provision of this Warranty be deemed void, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent of the law.
Nothing in this Warranty shall operate to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies provided by mandatory national, state, or local consumer protection law in the jurisdiction of sale. If mandatory provisions in the end-user’s jurisdiction provide for additional rights that cannot be waived or limited by this Warranty, such provisions will take precedence solely to the extent required by local law.
This Warranty is intended to have application to the broadest possible territory; however, certain provisions, remedies, or limitations described herein may not be available or permissible in all jurisdictions.

Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in the English language and held in the State of California, unless otherwise required by law or agreed by the parties in writing.
No Class or Representative Claims:
The Customer and OKAI agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the Dispute between OKAI and the individual Customer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no arbitration or proceeding shall be joined with another and there shall be no right or authority for any Dispute to be arbitrated or litigated on a class action or consolidated basis or in a representative capacity on behalf of the general public or other persons similarly situated.
Award and Fees:
The prevailing party in arbitration or any permitted court action shall be entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs. The arbitrator’s decision and award shall be final and binding and may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Exception:
Nothing herein shall restrict either party’s right to seek provisional, injunctive, or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction as may be necessary to protect its rights or property, pending the completion of arbitration procedures.
Confidentiality:
All arbitration proceedings, filings, and awards, including the existence of the dispute, shall be confidential and not disclosed to third parties except as required by law or for entry of judgment.
This Section is severable. If any part is determined unenforceable by a court or arbitrator, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
Retain this document and proof of purchase for the entire warranty duration.
